Shawn Robbins founded Box Office Theory in 2011 as a forecasting and analysis outlet that expanded to include a thriving forum of movie fans. Including time writing since 2012, he was the exclusive vendor of domestic box office forecasts to Boxoffice.com while also serving members of the National Association of Theatre Owners from 2016 through early 2024. He previously served as a community manager for Box Office Mojo.
Shawn is considered one of the field's foremost experts, providing a balance of data-driven and common sense insights on the state and evolution of the motion picture and theatrical business.
