Meanwhile, Universal and Blumhouse’s Speak No Evil will hope to attract thriller fans while a slew of specialty titles aim for varying degrees of box office returns.

Key Tracking Factors & Rationale:
- Speak No Evil aims to leverage its cast, led by James McAvoy, alongside the Blumhouse brand and fans familiar with the original 2022 Dutch film this iteration is remade from. Early reviews are positive with an 88 percent fresh Rotten Tomatoes score from 48 reviews, but competition from the Beetlejuice sequel and a lack of significant premium screen space will be factors to watch for.
- Matt Walsh and SDG Releasing’s Am I Racist? has driven impressive activity in pre-sales during recent weeks as it looks to capitalize on the current U.S. political election. Appeal will be strongest in conservative communities but it could be a sleeper performer among the top films of the weekend.
- Lionsgate’s The Killer’s Game hopes to court an older male action fan audience, though pre-release trends are lukewarm.
- Several other releases (noted below) are excluded from our public forecast but will be contenders to land among the top ten this weekend.
